Supervision
Supervision can be for managerial or professional purposes. Typically, managerial supervision is conducted by your line manager. Professional supervision can focus on development of clinical skills, reflecting on practice, managing workload, and developing professional self-worth. RCSLT has excellent resources on this subject here: https://www.rcslt.org/members/delivering-quality-services/supervision/supervision-guidance/#section-1
I have experience of professional supervision for therapists at all stages of their career, and I am passionate about helping therapists feel knowledgeable and skilled in their jobs. I have undertaken further learning on the topic of supervision via In Tandem training. If you are a Speech and Language Therapist looking for professional supervision on either a one-off or regular basis, I would be delighted to hear from you.
